The Regeneration Center is a Men’s Christian Center that is faith-based.The Regeneration Center opened it’s doors on June 13th, 2019. Since this time, we have provided shelter, food, clothing, healing, respect and comfort to over 100 homeless individuals from throughout our communities. Currently, the Regeneration Center houses 16 residents.
The Regeneration Center is a labor of love, where we help our fellow human beings to find physical and spiritual healing, and live up to their true potential. This is very personal for me.
I was born and raised in the Bronx, New York and graduated from Penn State University in 1982 with a BA in Communications. Despite having loving parents and a great education, I couldn’t escape the grip of addiction. I started using drugs at age 13, and my life took a bad turned and I found myself homeless at the age of 42.
In 2002, homeless and strung out on heroin and crack cocaine, my Mother put me into the House of Hope. It was there that God ministered to me, and there where I found my purpose in life. That purpose was to give back what was given to me.
Today . I’m an ordained pastor, a successful businessman, and the Owner and Director of Regeneration Center. I have been drug free for over twenty two years. I personally go to the highways and the byways offering food, shelter ,and sharing resources such as God’s word, a Twelve step program, employment, clothing and housing, with the partnership of other resources that work with us to combat homelessness.
